Houseperson - Full Time - Holiday Inn Berkshires
Essential Functions:
- Supply all areas of the hotel with towels, linens, supplies, cribs, cots, luggage carts as needed.
- Keep all hotel areas clear of debris, trash, service trays, linens
- Keep walk ways and entrances clear of snow as needed
- Able to use equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, brooms, shampooers and leaf blowers
- Able to use laundry equipment
- Able to thoroughly clean all public areas and back of house areas of the hotel
Sales Manager
Full Time
Essential Functions:
- Solicit business by telephone and in person in order to achieve designated sales goals.
- Complete all required paperwork a timely and detailed manner
- Develop and present verbal and written sales proposals and presentations to current and prospective clients
- Meet with and entertain clients which will involve travel
- Conduct site inspections with potential clients
- Work with and communicate effectively with other departments in ensuring the satisfactory service of all clients
- Serve as Manager on Duty
- Travel to participate in industry related tradeshows and trainings
- Input and retrieve information from a relatively complex computer system to produce correspondence, forecasts and marketing plans
Job knowledge:
- Skilled in sales presentations
- Knowledge to effectively deal with external and internal customers and staff
- Ability to read, listen and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Excel and Word program proficiency
Education:
Any combination of education, training, and previous hospitality experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
